Modern Art Abstract Expressionist Arthur Blake The paintings in this exhibition were done during 2007-2008. Blake has work in the abstract expressionist style for several year but after he started learning more about Jackson Pollock he stared creating more specific abstract painting under the influence of Pollock and found that through the movement and texture created by dripping, splashing and throughing paint, without creating any specific form, a freedom of expression developed that truly set his imagination and creativity free.
